Ghislaine Maxwell has spoken from a US jail of her “pricey pal” Prince Andrew, and informed of how she “feels unhealthy” for the way he has been handled.
Maxwell’s feedback, printed within the Mail on Sunday in her first prolonged interview since her December conviction on intercourse trafficking fees, will heap recent embarrassment on the Duke of York, who has sought to distance himself from the disgraced socialite.
“I really feel so unhealthy for him,” stated Maxwell, who has identified the Duke since she was a pupil at Oxford College within the Eighties.
“Sure, I comply with what is occurring to him. He’s paying such a value for the affiliation (with Jeffrey Epstein). I take into account him a pricey pal… I care about him,” the 60-year-old stated in an interview with Israeli-American documentary filmmaker Daphne Barak, who met Maxwell within the Nineteen Nineties.
The interview, which occurred in Tallahassee FCI, an all-female jail in Florida’s capital, was first printed within the Mail on Sunday and is about to be broadcast on Monday on ITV.
Questioned on the denial by the Duke’s legal professionals in courtroom filings that they have been shut buddies, Maxwell, 60, stated: “I settle for that this friendship couldn’t survive my conviction.”
