Mehler Vario System has been awarded a follow-on contract for ballistic protecting vests for the armed forces of Sweden, the corporate has introduced in a press launch.
The contract was awarded by the Swedish Defence Procurement Company the FMV and calls for Mehler Vario System to enhance the quantities of ballistic protecting vests it has been delivering.
Previous to the award of the brand new contract, Mehler had already delivered a number of thousand protecting vests for Sweden’s army. Based on the firm, the brand new contract covers the supply of ballistic vests as much as a complete worth round €180,000,000.
The FMV indicated it awarded the procurement contract to replenish and develop its armed forces’present stock of physique armour.
